30 May 2013: The UN High-level Panel on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (HLP) has issued its final report, presenting it to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at a ceremony at UN Headquarters in New York, US, on 30 May 2013, following the Panel's adoption of the report at its final meeting on 29 May. The report recommends a post-2015 framework that pursues five “key transformations”: leave no one behind; put sustainable development at the core; transform economies for jobs and inclusive growth; build peace and effective, open and accountable public institutions; and forge a new global partnership.

21 March 2013: The Global Thematic Consultation on Environmental Sustainability culminated in a Leadership Meeting in San José, Costa Rica, from 18-19 March 2013. The meeting, which was co-convened by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and co-hosted by the Governments of Costa Rica and France, aimed to stimulate creative thinking on how to best reflect environmental sustainability in a multi-dimensional context within the post-2015 agenda.

13 March 2013: The Global Thematic Consultation on Population Dynamics culminated in a High-level Meeting (HLM) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 12-13 March 2013. The HLM, which was organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), UN Population Fund (UNFPA), the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), with support from the Governments of Bangladesh and Switzerland, resulted in the "Dhaka Declaration on the Global Leadership Meeting on Population Dynamics" in the context of the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
