UN-Energy, SE4ALL Launch Global Consultation on Energy, to Culminate in "Oslo Declaration" [viewed]

16 January 2013: UN-Energy and the UN Secretary-General's Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Initiative have launched the Global Thematic Consultation on Energy, in partnership with the Governments of Mexico and Norway. The Consultation aims to: contribute to a dialogue on the role of energy in a post-2015 framework; mobilize stakeholders to build a vision on priority areas and global objectives on energy; and ensure that the Consultation findings contribute to the post-2015 framework and related processes.

UNICEF, UN Women Launch Newsletter on Inequalities Consultation [viewed]

January 2013: The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and UN Women, the co-leaders of the Post-2015 Global Thematic Consultation on Inequalities, have released an online newsletter on the Consultation. The newsletter features the release of the Draft Report on Global Thematic Consultation on Inequalities, which is now available for comments, and online discussions taking place in January and February 2013.

Draft Report on Global Thematic Consultation on Inequalities Released for Comment [viewed]

9 January 2013: The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) and UN Women have released a Draft Report on the Global Thematic Consultation on Inequalities. The Draft is based on global public consultations, held from September 2012-January 2013, on ensuring that addressing inequalities remains central in the post-2015 development agenda. Comments on the draft can be submitted until 31 January 2013.

FAO's Unasylva Focuses on Forest Issues after Rio+20 [viewed]

Senegal Forum Outcome Document Reflects African Priorities for Post-2015 [viewed]

UNDP22 December 2012: A two-day forum on African priorities for the post-2015 development agenda has resulted in an Outcome Document that reflects those priorities and lists development enablers that participants identified as prerequisites for the post-2015 agenda. The forum, held in Dakar, Senegal, was one of several African events to build consensus on a post-2015 vision to be endorsed at the African Union (AU) Summit in May 2013.
